Julia Fiona Roberts was born on October 28, 1967. She grew up in the modest town of Smyrna in Georgia.

Her family consisted of three children, among which Julia was the youngest. Creative minds surrounded Julia for as long as anyone can remember. Before her parents split in 1971, they were both actors running a workshop to single out and launch aspiring writers and performers.

During her childhood days, Julia aspired to become a veterinarian. Although she soon gave up this dream upon realizing that she was good at Science.

She graduated from high school in 1985, moving to New York upon completing this milestone. Lisa, her sister, accompanied her to New York as the two sisters pursued an acting career.

In 1987, Roberts joined her parents’ in the acting profession as she finally got a guest role on the television series Crime Story. 

However, she brought herself to the eye of the public as Daisy in Mystic Pizza (1988). She completed her final step towards stardom when she starred in Steel Magnolias in 1989, showcasing her talent against acting icons like Shirley MacLaine and Sally Field.

She also earned an Academy Award nomination for best-supporting actress for her role in Steel Magnolias.

In a move that surprised everyone, Robert wed Lyle Lovett, a traditional country singer, on June 25. However, their time together was cut short as they separated in March 1995, subsequently getting divorced.

On July 4, 2002, Julia Roberts got married to Moder. They enjoyed a healthy married life and were soon blessed with twins Phinnaeus Walter and Hazel Patricia in 2004.

In 2007, the small family was blessed with another baby, Robert’s son Henry Daniel. Julia Roberts revealed that she practices Hinduism as her religion.
